What this covers
This applies to data your organization manages in ClearPolicy, including:- People records and group membership
- Document content, revisions, and uploaded files
- Acknowledgment and signature records, including audit trail data
- Signed paper copies uploaded when a team member records paper on file
- Data imported through integrations you enable (such as Planning Center)
Roles
For the people and document data you manage in ClearPolicy:- Your organization is the data controller. You decide what to collect and which documents to send.
- ClearPolicy is the data processor. We process that data only to provide, secure, and support the service.
Sub-processors and integrations
ClearPolicy uses third-party providers to operate the service. Core providers (such as hosting, email delivery, and payments) are listed in Section 8 of the DPA. Some providers are used only when you enable a specific integration.International transfers
