How renewal dates work
ClearPolicy adds the renewal interval to each person’s most recent completion date. One month means 30 days; one year means 365 days. When the interval passes, the document becomes Renewal due for that person unless a current request is already pending. With Auto-renew on, ClearPolicy checks daily and sends eligible new requests using the current published revision. Archived people and documents do not receive automatic renewal requests. A current assignment is required.Changing the renewal interval affects when existing completions become due. A shorter interval can make people due for renewal sooner. Review the warning before saving.
Send the first request
Renewal follows an existing completion. Setting a renewal interval does not replace the first request. Send the document to people who have not signed it yet. If Auto-renew is off, review Renewal due documents in completion views or the Outstanding People report, then send requests when ready.Renewal, reminders, and expiry
