ClearPolicy’s Zapier integration lets you build automated workflows that connect ClearPolicy to the other tools your team already uses. Trigger actions in other apps when something happens in ClearPolicy, or create contacts and send signing requests automatically based on events in your HR system, spreadsheets, or any other Zapier-connected app.

How to connect

1

Go to Settings

In ClearPolicy, navigate to SettingsIntegrations.
2

Connect Zapier

Click Connect next to Zapier. You’ll be redirected to Zapier to authorize the connection using OAuth. No API keys to copy and paste.
3

Build your Zap

Once connected, ClearPolicy will appear as an app in the Zapier editor. Choose a trigger or action to start building your workflow.

Available triggers

New person

Triggers when a new contact is added to ClearPolicy. Use this to kick off downstream actions in your HR system, CRM, or notification tools whenever someone is added.

Available actions

Add person

Create a new contact in ClearPolicy with a name, email address, and optional phone number.

Create document signing request

Send a specific document to a specific person for signature or acknowledgment. You select the person and the document; ClearPolicy handles the rest.

Example workflow

Here’s a common onboarding workflow you can build with Zapier:
1

Trigger: new employee added in your HR system

When a new hire is added in your HR tool (such as BambooHR, Rippling, or a Google Sheet), Zapier kicks off the workflow.
2

Action: add person in ClearPolicy

Zapier creates a new contact in ClearPolicy using the employee’s name and email address.
3

Action: create a signing request

Zapier immediately sends the new hire your onboarding policy for signature, using the person created in the previous step.
Chain multiple signing request actions in a single Zap to send several documents — for example, a code of conduct, a data privacy policy, and a remote work agreement — all at once when a new hire is added.
The Zapier integration requires an active ClearPolicy subscription.
