How instant notifications work

When instant notifications are turned on, ClearPolicy sends you an email the moment a person completes a request you sent. The email includes the document name, the person’s name, and that they signed.

How delivery failure notifications work

When delivery failure notifications are turned on, ClearPolicy sends you an email as soon as a request email bounces, fails to send, or is marked as spam. The email includes the document name, the recipient email address, and the delivery problem. Use this alert to fix the address and resend the request before following up with reminders.

How the daily digest works

When the daily digest is turned on, ClearPolicy collects all completions from the previous day and sends you a single summary email at 8:00 AM in your organization’s time zone. This is helpful if you send a lot of requests and prefer fewer emails. You can enable both instant notifications and the daily digest at the same time. Instant emails go out immediately, and the digest provides a recap the following morning.
If you turn off both instant notifications and the daily digest, you won’t receive any completion emails. You can still check request status on the dashboard or in the Compliance tab of each document.

Team activity notifications

Owners and administrators see an additional Team activity toggle. When this is turned on, you receive notifications for requests completed by people — even if another team member sent the request. This is useful for staying informed about overall progress across your organization.
The team activity setting is only available to organization owners and administrators. Group Managers only receive notifications for requests they personally sent.
If you manage a large team, consider turning on the daily digest and turning off instant notifications to avoid a high volume of individual emails.
