If an organization sent you a ClearPolicy document request, open the link in its email to read and sign. You do not need to register, create an organization, or set a password.
Sign from an email link
- Open the document request or reminder email and follow its personal link.
- Read the document. Check the organization, your name, and any deadline.
- Choose the signing action and type your name as requested.
- Review the electronic-signature confirmation and submit.
- Look for the completion confirmation. Download your receipt if you want a copy.
Use your own link. Do not sign through someone else’s request. If the name or document is wrong, ask the organization that sent it to correct the request.
If other requests are waiting, you can use Review next document when offered.
Use the signing portal
Use the portal if you lost an email or want to find all your documents:
- Open the organization’s portal link, or go.clearpolicy.app.
- Enter the email address the organization has for you.
- Check your inbox for a 6-digit code and enter it.
- Open To sign, then click Sign beside a document.
- Read and sign using the same steps as an email request.
The portal uses a code instead of a password. If you reached the ClearPolicy team login page, choose Here to sign a document? rather than registering a team account.
Find signed copies and documents to read
Open Documents in the portal:
- Sign means a request still needs your signature.
- Open lets you open a signed copy or a document your organization made available to read.
- Your signed copies lists earlier signed versions when there is more than one.
- Paper on file means the organization recorded a signed paper copy. It does not include an electronic certificate for you to download.
Some documents are available to read without signing. Opening one does not record a signature or a view.
If you have documents from several organizations at the same email, switch organizations in the header.
Sign out
Use Sign out when finished, especially on a shared device. If your session ends, enter your email again to receive a new code.
