You do not need a ClearPolicy team member account to sign. Use the personal link in your email or the signing portal.

I cannot find the request email

Check spam or junk, then use the signing portal with the email address the organization has for you. Ask the sender to confirm that a request was sent to that address and to send a reminder if needed. If you manage the organization, use missing or failed email help.

I did not receive a portal code

  1. Check that the email you entered matches the address the organization has for you.
  2. Check spam or junk.
  3. Use Resend code when it becomes available and use the latest code.
  4. If it still does not arrive, ask the organization to check your person record and email address.
The code-entry screen can appear even when the address is not recognized. Seeing that screen does not confirm that an email was sent. A person record must exist for your address.

My code expired or does not work

Request a new code and enter the latest one. Use Use a different email if you entered the wrong address. You do not need to reset a password.

My request expired or was canceled

An unfinished expired or canceled request cannot be signed. Ask the organization to send a new request. A reminder cannot reopen it. If you completed the request before its deadline, your completion remains recorded and you can still open the completed copy.

My name is wrong or the signature is not accepted

Type the name requested on the signing page. If that name is incorrect, contact the sender for a corrected request. Do not use someone else’s name or link. Editing a person’s profile does not update a request already sent. The sender needs to replace the affected request to correct its saved details.

A document is missing from the portal

Check your email address and the organization selected in the header. Ask the organization to confirm access:
  • For a document requiring a signature, they need to send you a request. Canceled and expired requests are not listed.
  • For a document available to read, it must be published and shared through a group you belong to. A previous signature request is not required.

The organization is not accepting signatures

Contact the organization that sent the request. Its team needs to resolve the account issue before you can continue.

I cannot complete the request online

Ask the organization whether you can sign a paper copy instead. Its team can record paper on file on a pending request. You cannot upload a paper completion yourself through the signing portal. For a technical issue the organization cannot resolve, contact ClearPolicy support and describe the error. Do not send passwords or one-time codes.
